Coaching accelerates learning, in the areas of personal growth as well as development and implementation of ideas.  Working through your specific challenges in a supportive environment is the most powerful way to develop exactly where you need and want to grow. It’s like the difference between taking a class in a lecture hall and being tutored — or taking a group exercise class vs. working with a personal trainer who is tuned into your particular physical strengths and limitations. 

What type of coaching is this? 

I help individuals and teams develop a wholesome expression of faith in life, work and ministry.  Our expressions of ministry flow from the heart of God and are animated by the Holy Spirit.  Too often it is tempting to start with a program or strategy, rather than finding the heart connection that exists at the intersection of the needs of your “neighbors” and your compassion and gifting as a child of God.  Beginning with the question: “for whom or what do you have compassion?” allows us to tap what God has placed in your heart.  

The coaching I offer is more similar to tutoring and personal training.  You are the expert, fully capable to accomplish at what you’ve been called to do.  As you come to the coaching relationship with a particular goal in mind, and my role as the coach is to employ a variety of tools to help you achieve your goal.  We’ll move at your pace, rather than the pace set in a typical training.
